organization of the U.S. Marines. It is composed of
Marines with honorable service. It aims to perpetuate
the traditions and spirit of the U.S. Marine Corps through
the continuous association of Marines who served under

The Smoky Mountain Detachment
973 of The Marine Corps League is located in Franklin,
North Carolina, surrounded by the beautiful mountains
of Western North Carolina.
This Detachment meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the American Legion Post in Franklin, at 6:30 PM. Click
